At Challenger Lighting Services Ltd we have a large team of electrical engineers who are based throughout the UK and Ireland — all direct employees, no subcontractors.
Clients are assigned to a member of our experienced office team - a dedicated point of contact. Our office team are experienced in not only helping clients with day to day enquiries, but also helping clients when the unexpected happens, entering the information in the Challenger IT system from which the engineers worksheets are generated. Our teams of engineers are based throughout the UK/Ireland and cover Western European countries. Engineers have specialist qualifications which enable them to rise to clients expectations.
To fulfil client's requirements with lamps, fittings and replacement parts, our warehouses and vans carry £700,000 worth of stock. Our fleet of 39 Mercedes Vito and Sprinter vans are replaced every 3 x years to ensure our engineers are in the most reliable vehicles possible. We have a broad selection of access equipment from a humble ladder and scaffolding towers to the very latest mechanical platforms ensuring our engineers can gain access to even the highest internal or external lighting.
At Challenger Lighting Services Ltd we have developed an IT system that has the flexibility to be adapted specifically to the client’s requirements. Clients have 24/7 total visibility and reporting capability on all the contractual elements provided by Challenger thus reducing communication and hence overhead costs. Our engineers record their work directly to our database using smart-phones thus immediately updating job sheets and invoicing. Clients have a customer specific login to our website where they can confidentially interrogate the system for both client wide and site specific reports on work carried out, costs, scheduled visits plus access to photographic records of sites and assets. History is not deleted, hence we have a staggering 12 years of information to provide factual maintenance costs of replacing lamps and components including LED versions.
